Twitter: My micro-assessment of micro-blogging.
Twitter has its place in the universe of social networking because it's so abbreviated. It's a great way, depending on what you follow, to stay current on any interests you might have because of how readily digestible the information is, and how frequently people update their Twitter accounts. It requires much less set up than Facebook and its simplicity also makes it an ideal platform for people who are micro-blogging from phones and portable devices. The library could use it to keep people informed about all the events going on.
Picnik revisited.
Picnik, for a free internet software, is pretty awesome. No more red-eye! You can crop pictures and change the color and contrast and make all kinds of touch-ups to any pictures you're able to upload. It takes all the functions amateur functions of PhotoShop and makes them available to everyone. Fantastic!

PICNIK PARTY
I used Picnik to change the color on a Facebook picture. It seems like a great online tool for anyone who's looking to make basic changes to casual photographs.
